Summer Time!!!!

Summer Time is here!!!! Here are a few things coming up

for our Youth this summer:: Remember everything

is as of now subject to change, but here is an overview

June:

Service Project at Humane Society

Fireworks stand will begin around June 23rd

and will finish July 5

Possible Car Wash (may do this in July)

And of course youth will continue to happen

on Tuesday evenings, due to the Schweitzers crazy

schedule the time may change periodically, but we will

be aiming for 7:00 pm at church-- but watch for the

text message from Jessie ! :)

PRAYER REQUEST-- Please remember to be praying for all of those effected from natures disasters, between the life loss in Japan, and now all the flooding and tornado's in the states our prayer is needed for those in darkness searching for the light!

Service Project

This Tuesday we will be going to the Milford Cemetery and cleaning up the trails and any litter to help the city workers get it ready for Memorial Day. Please dress for a mess and bring a rake!

If any of you are struggling with the devil and his works just picture this verse, imagine the amazing power that water holds. As if a dam broke and the massive amount of water comes crashing down taking out anything in its path. God will use you to overcome any obstacle in your path like the breaking forth of waters!! Amazing. Awesome the hope we have in Jesus and his power!!!

Notes: We had a very successful sub sandwich fundraiser. We plan to use the left over meats for our Lent supper, which is just arround the corner!! The profits made from that night will go with the sub fundraiser, I will announce after that our total in profits.

Gingerbread Stables

This year the Youth will be hosting the first ever

"ginger bread" stable making fun fest! We are

hosting it for the preschool aged children. The youth

will pre make the structure of the stable, and the

children will mainly decorate. It will be lots of fun,

with snack time and a skit put on by the youth.

Hoping that all of the preschool aged kids will make it!

We also pray that you all have a safe and blessed

Another fun and successful

year at Roca. Dan and I are starting our 5th year

as the youth leaders. We now

have another little one at home sometimes making

it pretty difficult, but it is still one of the most rewarding

things the Lord has given us the gift to do. These kids

are so very special to us and to our community. If only

we could do this full time the things we could do would

just be limitless :) Unfortunately we cant, so we do the

best we can!! Hope you enjoy the pics!!

NYG

Wow what a blessing the NYG was for our youth! They had a blast, bonded together, and most importantly learned more about their faith in Jesus Christ. We would like to have our presentation on Aug 15, but I need to get things rolling on that very soon if it is going to happen. We will talk about the awesome presenters we saw, the concerts, mass events. How to Look Listen and Live for Christ!! It was an overall great experence and I am so glad we were so blessed to be
able to take our Youth to yet another NYG!! Here are some pics, hope you enjoy!!

Bake Sale

Just wanted to give everyone who helped with the bake sale a HUGE THANK YOU!! Especially to Barb S and Angela who helped set up and run the bake sale. We had 4 tables of donated goodies and made just over 400 profit!! Praise God!! Thank you all!!!
