Roca 2009!!

Annual Trip to Roca

Its that time again!! We will be once again taking our
annual trip to Roca Berry Farms. This year each
youth will be responcibile for the entry fee to the Farm.
Dan and Jessie will provide supper at Roca. We are planning
on renting the fire pit this year so we can roast hot dogs and
have more fellowship time as a youth. After that, we will enter
the farm and have fun with what they have to offer. Please let
me know as soon as you can so we can make sure we have
enough transportation.

October 2009

October 4th the youth group will be having a servant auction. This is where they auction themselves off to do some sort of physical labor for their buyer. The money that they earn for this fundraiser will go towards their trip to New Orleans in July of 2010. Since we have started the youth group, our group size has tripled! This is such a blessing, but it also is making it much more difficult and expensive to plan this trip!! We will need as much help and support as possible to get us there!!

Movie Night

WAY TO GO YOUTH!!! We had a very successful fireworks fundraiser this year thanks to all of you, and your familys for helping! We will have the final figures for you in a few weeks!! To celebrate all of our hard work we are going to go to the new movie TRANSFORMERS this coming sunday the time depends on when the theater is playing it. We would like to go in the late afternoon... 4 ish?? Will let you know! Hope you all can make it!!

Fireworks Fundraiser!!!

Well it is that time once again and we will again be hosting our own fireworks stand. I have the sign up sheet with me at all times so if anyone needs to get signed up for shifts just give Jessie a call. Last year we made over 2,000 in 10 days. Hopefully this year we will make even more money so that we can get to New Orleans next year!!! Give me a call if you haven't signed up yet!!! Blessings to you all

Happy Easter!!

May everyone have a blessed Easter as we remember what Christ did for us. I am amazed when I think of the amazing sacrifice that God made for us. As I watch my son grow I wonder to myself if I could ever even fathom doing something like that. I think not. Praise God Hallelujah! Just to update everyone a little bit on this months activities. We are hoping to do our servant event at the nursing home. I am still unaware of which day we can do this, but I will let youth know as soon as I do. Thanks to all the parents and youth who participated in the youth breakfast this morning. It was a success and that would have been impossible with out all of your help especially since Jessie had to work! God Blessing to all!!

Advent Supper

The youth group will be hosting the Advent supper for this wednesday March 4th. We will be serving cold sandwiches with chips potato saled and a dessert. If the parents of the youth could donate two dozen of cookies, brownies, etc. that would be great!! Supper startes at 6:30 and ends at 7:30 when church service begins. Hope to see all of you there!!

Updates

Just wanted to let everyone know that we will not be having a third sunday meeting this month. And also Feb 25 we will be meeting at the church. Brandy Frey will be leading youth group. Dan and I may not be back from our vacation yet, so we may or may not be there. But plan on youth at 7 at the church!! Gods Richest Blessings!!

Movie Night!!

Sunday fun night January 18, 2009. Meeting at church 6:00 pm to go to The Grand theater to see Bedtime Storys!! Movie starts at 7:10 will finish at 8:45 so we should make it home around 9:30at the latest. Hope everyone can make it!! Bring 5$ for your ticket and any extra money for snacks. Will be fun!!

Superbowl Subsandwich Sale!!

The youth will be selling sub sandwiches to anyone in Milford or Seward on February 1st. The youth have forms to have those of you who desire some delicious eats to fill out which are due Monday January 26th. They can be put in Jessie & Dans mailbox at church or at home. We will begin making them as soon as church is over and deliver them as soon as we are finished. Those in seward and out in the country will most likly get theirs last. All of the money we raise will go towards our trip to New Orleans in 2010. Thank you to all of you who give us your support. If anyone has any questions, please contact Jessie on her cell.
