Bake Party!!

This Saturday the youth group will be having a baking party in the church kitchen!! If the youth have a favorite Christmas recipe they would like to bring, please do. Or I will have some cook books if they want to pick one out at church. Please just bring 10$ for any ingredients we might need to by (hopefully you'll have change) or just bring the ingredients along. I will have sugar, flower, vanilla, baking soda-powder, and instruments there. I plan on bringing ingredients for sugar cookies, choc. dipped pretzels, and peanut butter kisses. If there are any questions please give me a call. Then Sunday we will be selling our baked goods at our bake sale. All the money will go toward our trip to New Orlins in the summer of 2010!! Advent supper

The youth group is planning on hosting the advent supper on December 10th. We will be serving good ol' hot dogs, chips, potato salad, and desert. As of right now anyways that is all that I have planned. Please have youth there at 6:00 to help get everything ready. Dinner is served at 6:30-7:15. We are still planning on having our presentation December 14th. Each youth that participated needs to have something to say about their personal experence. I am hoping that we will then serve treats (that Dan and I will provide) after the service. Also during advent youth will be meeting at Dan and Jessie's at 6:30- 7:00 that way youth have time to eat and go to the Advent service.
